Job Summary

Scope and General Purpose: 

To supervise and control all food and beverage stock movements and costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting regular stock takes and audits to identify discrepancies.
  • Receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming goods.
  • Managing stock rotation and maintaining tidy storerooms.
  • Recipe and menu costings.
  • Ordering and interacting with suppliers.

Qualifications and Experience

Key Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: At least Grade 12 Matric with a pass in Mathematics
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in cost control and inventory management preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel is a must, and experience in any other inventory management preferably Plus Central & Plus Point
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to move stock, lift, and carry items.
  • Other: South African Citizen, Ability to work shifts including nights and valid driver’s license is preferred.
